What a wonderful family to work with! Large groups are a challange, but this was a pleasure.

Welcome and thanks for stopping by. Photography is my passion! It is my honor and privilage to share this passion with you.
I have enjoyed creating beautiful images for many years. My passion for photography began in high school. Shortly after my wife and I had our first child in 1996, I became serious about photography again. I have captured many special moments in both of my childrens' lives over the years. It is incredible how photography can impact us in such a powerful way and bring back the joy and emotion of those moments.
In the summer of 2007, after much prayer and thoughtful consideration, David Snook Photography was born. My first session was on 7/7/07. How cool is that!
It is my aim to capture the same beautiful, timeless images full of joy and emotion for you, as I have been privileged to capture for my family. I am certain you enjoy your photographs and pray they will be a blessing to you.

Enjoy...

She is not just beautiful, but she is a wonderful wife, mother, teacher and person. We have been married almost 20 years and I am incredibly blessed.

I would love to do a portrait session for you. I am very passionate about what I do and feel blessed to serve people in this way. I do a limited number of sessions and I currently have openings throughout the year, but they will begin to fill up soon. A $50 retainer (plus tax) and a contract will reserve a date. The retainer is applied towards your session fee. I will be giving a $25 print credit to all of the clients who pay their retainer and turn in their contract by February 7th. Please click HERE to contact me, if you are interested in taking advantage of this. Thank you for your interest.
We took this families Christmas photos around the end of November. I love the red shirts. I moved here to North Carolina from Cleveland about six and a half years ago. I am still amazed that we can have temperatures in the 60s all winter long. I really enjoyed working with this family. The kids were adorable and full of energy. Here are a few of my favorite shots.

I love to photograph young children. They are totally uninhibited in front of the camera, so it is easy to capture a bit of the essence of who they truly are. I photographed this young boy last spring and his mother wanted some more photos of him once the leaves changed. We don’t have a lot of foliage with color here in Eastern North Carolina, but we were fortunate to find a bit in the back yard of her mothers neighbor. He was a lot of fun, but totally wore me out keeping up with him.
