My Best Friend and his Family at Creekside Park

I had a great time photographing my best friend and his family at Creekside Park recently.

We are fortunate in this part of the country to have good weather sporadically throughout the year and this was one of those wonderful days in the month of February.

Family at Tryon Palace

This session took place a bit earlier in the day than I usually work, which means the lighting can be more of a challenge and the temperatures are warmer. Despite the challenges we managed to find good light and the family remained in great spirits despite the heat.

Family Fun at the Beach

I had a terrific time photographing this extended family and friends at the beach.  They were a fun loving group that really enjoyed getting out into the water, which made for some wonderful images.

Union Point

I had the pleasure a while back of working with a wonderful family at Union Point.  Unfortunately I have been working on taxes and was not able to post until now.  (Yes, I am begging for sympathy  :) )  Here are some of my favorites.

Christmas Photos at the Beach

We took this families Christmas photos around the end of November.  I love the red shirts.  I moved here to North Carolina from Cleveland about six and a half years ago.  I am still amazed that we can have temperatures in the 60s all winter long.  I really enjoyed working with this family.  The kids were adorable and full of energy.  Here are a few of my favorite shots.

A Boy a Ball and Some Bubbles

I love to photograph young children.  They are totally uninhibited in front of the camera, so it is easy to capture a bit of the essence of who they truly are.  I photographed this young boy last spring and his mother wanted some more photos of him once the leaves changed.  We don’t have a lot of foliage with color here in Eastern North Carolina, but we were fortunate to find a bit in the back yard of her mothers neighbor.  He was a lot of fun, but totally wore me out keeping up with him.
