A Boy a Ball and Some Bubbles

I love to photograph young children.  They are totally uninhibited in front of the camera, so it is easy to capture a bit of the essence of who they truly are.  I photographed this young boy last spring and his mother wanted some more photos of him once the leaves changed.  We don’t have a lot of foliage with color here in Eastern North Carolina, but we were fortunate to find a bit in the back yard of her mothers neighbor.  He was a lot of fun, but totally wore me out keeping up with him.

West Craven Senior

This young lady was a pleasure to work with.  She had a great smile and a relaxed pose.  We are blessed with a beautiful historic downtown here in New Bern.  I was able to utilize several areas, including the old Episcopal Church, that George Washington attended.

Sun and Fun

It was a bit brisk, but this family had a lot of fun.  I really enjoyed photographing them and watching how they all enjoyed each others company.

Evening at the Beach

I had a great time photographing a family at the beach a week ago.  The two kids were so adorable and their love for each other really stood out.  Here are a few of the shots.

Birthday Girl

I had the opportunity to photograph a birthday party  recently.  The photos span five generations.  The little girl is so cute and the others look very nice as well.

Three Generations

I had the opportunity to photograph an extended family a couple of weeks ago consisting of three generations.  Here are a few of my favorite shots.
